湖北东方明见心理健康研究中心特约教授,美国雷德兰兹大学(University of Redlands)教育学院教授,现任APA第29分会(心理治疗发展学会)主席,APA第17分会(咨询心理学分会)督导培训项目部主席。Goodyear教授多年从事临床心理督导地培训工作,发表过多部临床督导方面的著作与文章。与Janine M. Bernard合著地《临床心理督导纲要》(Fundamentals of clinical supervision)是咨询与临床督导领域使用非常广泛的教材,目前已经出版到第五版。该书第三版被翻译为中文,是国内心理督导培训课程的指定教材。由于在临床心理学领域地杰出贡献,Goodyear教授被授予“APA咨询分会心理治疗过程与效果研究终身成就奖”(2013)和“APA教育与培训杰出贡献奖”(2015)。
